Every care is taken to make sure all dogs are happy and safe - therefore - fence climbers, excessive barkers or aggressive dogs may not be suitable participants in these walks excursions.

A) HEALTH AND TEMPERAMENT AGREEMENT TERMS
I/We agree and understand that in allowing myself and family and/our dog/s to use any of the services provided by Benrook NZ trading as ‘Star Dog Walks’, that my/our dog is in good health, is current on all vaccinations and has not harmed or shown serious aggression or threatening behaviour towards another dog and/or human. I/We understand that in any ‘run free country’ environment that there is an inherent risk of injury or illness, to humans and dogs (some examples rabbit holes, fences, trees) and from rough play and a possible nip. Understanding this, I/We accept full responsibility and hold Benrook NZ - ‘Star Dog Walks’ not liable for any human or pet injury, death or damage. I/We agree that I/We are solely responsible for any damage or harm caused to property, people, or other animals caused by my/our dog(s) while using the services of Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks'. I/We hereby agree to indemnify Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’ for any and all claims resulting from the actions of my/our dog(s). I/We acknowledge that no liability attaches to the owner of the property Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’ has permission to use for it’s Dog Walking and Activity Services and Hiring of the Training Paddock. I/We understand if our/my dog shows repeated aggressive or menacing behaviour or excessive barking, that the dog will be moved to seclusion for a period of time. If the behaviour continues your dog may be asked to leave Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’. By agreeing to this form, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the terms and conditions set forth by this agreement.

B) EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT AUTHORISATION TERMS
Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’, will make every effort to contact you if any emergency situation should arise with regards your dog, as we transfer them to your requested vets. Our Priority is always the wellbeing of your dog/s. This authorisation gives Benrook NZ - ‘Star Dog Walks’ permission to act on my/our behalf in the event my/our dog needs medical attention. I/we the owner, authorise a licensed vet (as nominated by me/us) and their assistants, to administer treatment and perform procedures as are considered therapeutically and diagnostically necessary for the care of my/our dog, including administration of anaesthesia. In the event that emergency treatment is required, I/we authorise the vet staff and their assistants to perform medical and surgical treatments necessary to preserve the life of my/our dog until I can be contacted for further approval. I/we accept full responsibility for any and all financial responsibility for the treatment that my/our dog receives from the veterinarian and their staff. I/we hereby release Benrook NZ - ‘Star Dog Walks’ from any and all claims from any emergency situation which may arise.

C) GUIDELINES, POLICIES AND TERMS
Reservations: Reservations are required with availability based on our current numbers also the compatibility and personality of dogs wishing to join. Regular bookings although not a requirement will help with making sure your dog/s are happy and is a relaxed and fun weekly walking group. Assessments: Prior to joining a first walk day, an initial assessment visit is required (at no cost approx 30 mins), an activity coordinator will either visit your home or you will be welcome to visit us to get to know your dog/s and if they are wanting to join a Star Dog Social Walk Day (Dogs can appear very happy in their home environment but anxiety and stress can turn to extreme fear when out of their safety zone). Understanding and making sure they feel safe and enjoy the experience will reduce any possibility of a dog developing anxiety issues. Booking Payments: Invoices will be automatically generated and can be paid direct to our nominated bank account (other options can be discussed). Our priority is the dogs, so don’t want to spend too much time on bookwork/payments. Cancellation: We accept cancellations up to 2 days in advance by 6pm. If we are not informed of a cancellation, it will be considered a no show and payment/s will be expected please - if payment has been made it can be considered a credit or it will be refunded within 7 days. Sickness: Obviously if your dog isn’t feeling well at the time they are due to be collected for a Star Dog Walk we totally understand and there will not be a charge. Collar/Leash Guideline: We would prefer if dogs wear quick release collars (owners decision). Metal collars of any kind are not suitable. We encourage name tags on the collars as well/or at least tags. A lead must be provided for collection and retrieval purposes.
 
WARRANTIES AND INDEMNITY
1) You acknowledge that, in agreeing to the above Terms A,B,C, that you have satisfied yourself as to the condition and suitability of the Star Dog Walks and excursion service and it’s fitness for your dog/s and yourself if hiring the Training Paddock. 
2) You warrant that you have the capacity to enter into and observe and perform these Terms. 
3) You agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’ from and against all losses, liability, expenses and costs which Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’ incurs (including all legal costs on a full indemnity basis) concerning any breach of these Terms.

GENERAL
i) If any provision of these Terms is found void, voidable or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired. 
ii) The headings in these Terms are inserted for convenience only and shall be ignored in construing them. 
iii) Any amendments to these Terms must be agreed to in writing by Benrook NZ -‘Star Dog Walks’.

DEFINITIONS
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms have the meaning given below in this Contract: Agreement means the agreed terms and conditions accepted by the Client for the All Day Dog Walks and Activities Service and/or the Training Hire Paddock provided by Benrook NZ - ‘Star Dog Walks’; Client means the person, company or other entity whose pet is using the Dog Services or who is Hiring the Training Paddock specified in the Booking application; Benrook NZ - ‘Star Dog Walks’ means the business of dog walking and activities or Hiring of the Training Paddock which is operated by LA Campbell as a sole trader (on private farm land).
